OPPO Watch S Set to Launch on October 16
-
September 23 — IT Home News: OPPO has officially opened reservations for its brand-new OPPO Watch S on the OPPO Mall, with the launch date confirmed for October 16.
Excitement has been building since popular tech blogger @數碼閒聊站 recently revealed that this will be OPPO’s first lightweight smart watch, boasting a sleek design with a thickness of less than 9mm. Adding to the buzz, earlier leaks suggested the Watch S will be powered by a dual-chip architecture combining the Snapdragon W5 and BES2800 MCU, enabling all-day health monitoring and enhanced performance.
The Watch S continues OPPO’s momentum in the smartwatch space, following the successful release of the OPPO Watch X2 series earlier this year. The standard X2, unveiled in February 2025, featured a 46mm round dial, titanium alloy bezel, and sapphire crystal glass, along with advanced functions like hypertension risk assessment, independent eSIM, and full support for WeChat Watch Edition. In April, OPPO expanded the lineup with the Watch X2 Mini, designed for portability and wellness on the go, equipped with a Snapdragon W5 chip, independent eSIM, and real-time location sharing.
With the upcoming Watch S, OPPO looks set to redefine the balance between lightweight design and powerful functionality, appealing to users who want style, comfort, and health tracking all in one sleek device. Tech enthusiasts and OPPO fans alike will be watching closely as the countdown to October 16 begins.
