Shinji, a member of Korea’s long-running co-ed group Koyote, has announced that she will marry singer Moon Won this May.
On January 26, Shinji shared a handwritten letter on Instagram, explaining that living together strengthened their bond and trust. She thanked her partner for standing firmly by her side and acknowledged public concern, saying she intends to move forward steadily without losing sight of her original values.
The wedding is scheduled for May 2 at Laum Art Center in Gangnam, Seoul, with Koyote members and industry friends expected to attend.
Shinji rose to fame as Koyote’s main vocalist with hit songs such as Pure Love and Spark, but she also endured years of public criticism and personal struggles before gradually returning to the spotlight.
Moon Won, born in 1988, is seven years younger than Shinji. The couple met through a radio program in 2024 and later began dating. Since the announcement, online discussions have emerged regarding Moon Won’s past, though details remain subject to official clarification.
