After being diagnosed with leukemia and completing four rounds of treatment, Shen Yulin’s latest photo has surfaced.

Taiwanese celebrity Shen Yu-lin reportedly fell ill in July last year and was rushed to Tri-Service General Hospital in Neihu, Taipei. He was later diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer) and has continued treatment since then. Recently, Shen completed the fourth stage of his therapy and posted a new photo on the 28th, which quickly drew an outpouring of supportive comments online.

Because of his health, Shen has been away from his hosting role on 11 p.m. Hot Talk Show for some time. As his treatment progresses into a new phase, he has also met with the show’s producer to stay updated on current entertainment news and the program’s latest developments.

In the newly shared photo, Shen appears in good spirits—smiling at the camera with his signature legs-crossed pose. His complexion looks healthy, and he appears noticeably fuller compared to the early days of treatment.

Shen previously said he may be able to leave the hospital before the Lunar New Year, though the exact discharge date will still depend on his doctor’s assessment.

As for returning to work, he shared that he plans to prioritize 11 p.m. Hot Talk Show and his online program William & Shen: Happy Delivery, while other projects currently under discussion will resume gradually depending on how things go.

He also noted that for blood-related illnesses, once blood cell counts return to a normal range, day-to-day life can often be similar to that of most people, and physical stamina may not necessarily be a major issue.
