Charmaine Sheh, the only Hong Kong star on a Chinese media “Favorability” list: “I’m just doing my job well.”

A recent “2025 Media Favorability Survey” conducted by Chinese online media outlets polled 60 industry professionals. Actress Charmaine Sheh stood out as the only Hong Kong artist to make the list. The top five rankings were Xiao Zhan, Bai Lu, Dylan Wang, Li Landi, and Song Weilong. As the first actress to win the Best Actress award four times, She once again proved the enduring strength and professionalism of Hong Kong entertainers.

According to HK01, Charmaine Sheh’s inclusion as the sole Hong Kong representative highlights her remarkable popularity across regions. She appeared at a jewelry brand event in Tsim Sha Tsui today and responded to the news during an interview, humbly saying, “I’m really happy and very grateful for the appreciation from the media. I’m just doing my job.”

When asked whether she has developed strategies for interviews, She explained, “If I know in advance, I’ll definitely prepare. But sometimes interviews are spontaneous, like this one, so there’s no preparation. I just try my best to answer what everyone wants to know.”
Regarding photo requests from fans, she added with a smile, “I try my best to accommodate them, because if people ask for photos, it means they like you. But if I’m really not looking my best, I’ll ask if they have a beauty camera—still, I usually agree to take the photo.”
