GuocoLand Malaysia (GUOCO, 1503), a Main Market property counter linked to Tan Sri Quek Leng Chan, applied to Bursa Malaysia this morning for a trading suspension pending a major announcement.
Trading was halted from 9:00 a.m., with no indication of when it will resume. Before the suspension, the stock last traded at 93.5 sen, giving it a market capitalization of about RM655 million.
Based on the top-30 shareholders list in the company’s 2025 annual report, Quek holds a 2.78% direct stake and a 68.35% indirect stake in the company.
