As year-end events peak, humanoid robots have become surprisingly busy. Since their viral debut at the 2025 Spring Festival Gala, they’ve quickly moved from screens to real venues—corporate annual meetings, mall openings, and tourism shows—often serving as high-tech “attention grabbers.” Recently, companies like MagicLab, Galaxy General Robotics, Unitree Robotics, and Songyan Power announced partnerships with this year’s Gala, adding more hype.

Offline rentals are booming: promo shoots, campus shows, corporate dance performances, and even film sets, with daily fees ranging from thousands to over ten thousand RMB. But the market is messy—prices vary wildly, service quality is inconsistent, marketing can be misleading, and some clients complain about paying a lot for just a few minutes on stage.

Whether this is a true commercialization pathway or a short-term event-driven bubble remains unclear.
