On February 3, overseas media reported that the Honor Power2 has been accused of copying the design of Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro in both appearance and software UI.

Wccftech claimed that the phone features a “Transparent Mode” with a “liquid glass” visual style similar to Apple’s interface, and that its rear camera appears to be a triple-camera setup, though only two lenses are functional, with one decorative module added for visual similarity. Honor also offers dual UI styles that users can switch between.

In response, Honor customer service stated that the device includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera supporting up to 10x digital zoom, plus an infrared module. The similar camera layout, they said, results from industry-wide design convergence balancing imaging hardware, cooling, and grip comfort.

The Honor Power2 is equipped with a 10,080mAh battery, debuts the Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset, and supports 80W fast charging, 27W reverse charging, and two-way satellite communication.
