Benefiting from diversified asset classes
SGX Chief Executive Officer Loh Boon Chye said the strong first-half performance was driven by sustained growth across diversified asset classes. Supported by forward-looking measures from the Securities Market Review Group, market activity strengthened, with retail participation reaching a four-year high and the IPO pipeline continuing to expand.
Looking ahead, Loh said SGX remains confident of achieving medium-term revenue growth of 6% to 8%. The exchange kept its FY2026 cost and capital expenditure guidance unchanged at 4% to 6% growth and reaffirmed its commitment to increasing quarterly dividends by 0.25 Singapore cents by the end of FY2028.
SGX shares closed at S$17.75 in the previous session, down 1.39%.
