(Amsterdam, Feb 12) — A Dutch court has ordered an investigation into alleged mismanagement at chipmaker Nexperia. The court said it will urgently appoint two investigators and will uphold its October decision to suspend former CEO Zhang Xuezheng from his role.
Zhang is the founder of Wingtech Technology, Nexperia’s China-based parent company. The ruling keeps control of Nexperia in the hands of its European management team.
The European team has been running the company since the Dutch government stepped in, triggering a dispute over control. The conflict has been blamed for disruptions in the global automotive supply chain.
