(Hong Kong, Feb 15) Actress and former TVB Best Supporting Actress winner Roxanne Tong (Zhao Xiluo), 43, has kept a relatively low profile since leaving TVB in 2023. On Valentine’s Day (Feb 14), she surprised fans by posting a series of stunning bridal photos taken in Paris, France, announcing that she is now married. The post quickly drew congratulatory messages from industry friends and fans.

In her caption, she wrote: “As this lunar year winds down, my new chapter begins. Wishing Everyone Happy Valentine’s Day,” expressing excitement about stepping into a new phase of life.

In the photos, Tong appears in several elegant wedding gowns, posing in front of iconic Paris landmarks and grand European-style architecture. From a strapless mermaid silhouette to a long-sleeved lace design, the looks highlight a classic, refined bridal style.

Tong did not reveal her husband’s face, consistent with her long-standing preference for privacy. However, one image includes her husband in frame for the first time—though his face is cropped—marking a rare public glimpse after years of keeping the relationship out of the spotlight.

Hong Kong media also revisited her background and career. While reports over the years have circulated various details about her family and upbringing, Tong has largely focused public attention on her work. She returned to Hong Kong in 2007 to compete in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant and later entered the entertainment industry. Over a 16-year career, she gained recognition for portraying emotionally intense and psychologically complex roles, notably as “Ho Tai” in Barrack O’Karma, and won Best Supporting Actress at the 2019 TVB Anniversary Awards. She officially departed TVB in 2023, closing one chapter and beginning another.
