Spy shots of Leapmotor’s first MPV, the D99, were revealed, showcasing a tech-luxury design inspired by the D19. The front cabin features a floating center console display, digital instrument cluster, electronic shift lever, three-spoke steering wheel, and electronic door handles. The rear seats are expected to adopt zero-gravity seats for ultimate passenger comfort.

The D99 measures over 5.2 meters in length, nearly 2 meters in width, and more than 3.1 meters in wheelbase. Its front fascia features an AGS active grille and million-pixel DLP projection headlights, while the side adopts futuristic digital curves with flat-flow side windows. A panoramic sunroof with >99.9% UV protection adds a luxurious touch.

The vehicle rides on 19-inch “Horizon Dream” wheels paired with Michelin Haoyue 5E high-performance tires, while the rear is equipped with an ISD intelligent interactive light bar. Available colors include Pearl White, Liquid Silver, Morning Blue, Sky Grey, and Metallic Black.

In terms of power and range, D99 boasts the world’s longest range extended EV MPV, featuring an 800V high-voltage range extension platform, dual-energy motor AWD, and CTC battery-chassis integration. The pure-electric version comes with a full-stack 1000V three-electric system and 115kWh super hybrid cells.

The cabin also includes industry-leading features such as a vehicle-grade oxygen cabin, semi-aniline leather, zero-gravity seats, and 1280TOPS dual 8797 chips. Handling highlights include 46,682Nm/deg torsional stiffness, front four-piston fixed calipers, dual-chamber closed air suspension with continuously variable damping, ensuring a blend of luxury and driving pleasure.
