After skillfully avoiding the “death half” of the draw, Arsenal is on track to reach the Champions League final for the first time in 16 years! Over the next three months, Arsenal and Manchester City will battle for trophies across four competitions: the Premier League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and the Champions League.

After 28 Premier League rounds, Arsenal leads the table with 61 points, while Manchester City, having played one game fewer, sits second with 56 points. Aston Villa ranks third with 51 points. Both Arsenal and Manchester City will face off in the Carabao Cup final on March 22 and have already advanced to the FA Cup round of 16.

A potential Arsenal-Man City Champions League final would mark the first all-Premier League final since the 2020-21 season, when Chelsea defeated Manchester City to lift the trophy. Historically, Premier League sides have met in the final twice before, in 2007-08 and 2018-19, with Manchester United and Liverpool emerging victorious over Chelsea and Tottenham, respectively.

Arsenal draws an excellent path this season: Round of 16 against Bayer Leverkusen, quarterfinal likely against Bodø/Glimt or Sporting CP, and a possible semifinal showdown with Barcelona. Interestingly, if Arsenal faces Atalanta in the Round of 16, their quarterfinal opponent would likely be Manchester City or Real Madrid.

A Champions League final appearance would be Arsenal’s first since 2006, when they narrowly lost to Barcelona. Manchester City, by contrast, faces a tougher route: Round of 16 against Real Madrid, quarterfinal likely against Bayern, and a semifinal opponent drawn from PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool, or Galatasaray.

Two Premier League giants, four competitions, endless excitement—European football is set for another thrilling chapter!
