(Beijing, 22nd) Chinese motorcycle influencer known as “Huang You Ni” has tragically passed away following a serious accident while test-riding a prototype engineering motorcycle on a mountain road, drawing widespread attention and condolences online.

According to reports by Red Star News, the incident occurred on the 20th. Huang was riding a Zhang Xue 820RR prototype bike along Changchi Road in Changping, Beijing, when he encountered a vehicle crossing into his lane at a blind curve. In an attempt to avoid a collision, he lost control and crashed into a guardrail, suffering fatal cervical spine injuries.

The motorcycle involved had reportedly been purchased only about 11 days prior and was still in its testing phase. Just a day before the accident, Huang had posted a video highlighting potential issues with the bike’s hydraulic clutch system. On the day of the incident, he shared another update claiming the issue had been resolved before proceeding with the test ride.

Sources indicated that engineers and friends had repeatedly advised him against riding under such conditions, but their warnings were not followed.

Huang had gained popularity in the motorcycle community for his candid reviews and willingness to expose mechanical flaws, amassing approximately 115,000 followers. He had also previously warned his audience that March to May is a high-risk period for mountain riding accidents, even producing data-driven videos to raise awareness.

Tragically, he became a victim of the very risks he once cautioned others about, leaving many netizens shocked and saddened. Following the incident, a person believed to be the motorcycle company’s representative, Zhang Xue, commented online, “I will take responsibility,” sparking further public discussion.
