Chiao Fan-Fan undergoes C-section due to baby’s position, Lou Jun-Shuo accompanies her and shares good news

(Taipei, 22nd) Taiwanese artist Lou Jun-shuo and his wife, influencer Jiao Fan-fan, have officially become first-time parents, welcoming a healthy baby boy on the morning of the 21st. The newborn, delivered via cesarean section on the due date, weighed 3,572 grams, with both mother and child reported to be in good condition.

Lou shared that although the 21st was the expected due date, the baby’s position remained head-up, leading doctors to recommend a cesarean delivery.

As a first-time father, Lou stayed by his wife’s side throughout the procedure, holding her hand for reassurance. He admitted that both of them felt nervous beforehand, especially about the anesthesia and surgical process. “Fan-fan was quite anxious at first. I just stayed with her until the anesthesia took effect and she gradually calmed down,” he said.

While he remained composed during the birth and did not shed tears, Lou revealed that the night before, the thought of becoming a father moved him deeply. “It was a feeling I’ve never experienced before,” he shared.

Recalling the moment of birth, he expressed both awe and emotion: “I stood beside her as the doctors worked to bring our child into the world. It was both overwhelming and incredibly fulfilling.” He added that his immediate realization was how difficult motherhood truly is, noting that Fan-fan was moved to tears as well.

Describing their son, Lou said the baby is strong and healthy, with features reflecting both parents: “He has my nose, both our double eyelids, and Fan-fan’s mouth.”

The couple has also agreed not to reveal their son’s name or full appearance for now. Any photos shared publicly will avoid showing his face. Lou explained, “We don’t want our child to grow up under public scrutiny because of our work. We’d rather let him decide for himself when he’s older.”
