(Genting, 22nd) Rock powerhouse Shin (Su Jianxin) lit up Resorts World Genting on Saturday with his “Live to the Fullest 2026” concert, delivering a nonstop, high-energy performance packed with soaring vocals and explosive stage presence.

Responding to claims that performing at Genting can be physically demanding, Shin confidently said, “I only pretend to struggle—my stamina is actually great!” He proved it on stage, even dropping down to do push-ups mid-show and lying on the stage during peak moments, drawing cheers from the crowd while jokingly asking fans to “help promote” his performance online.

To prepare for the tour, Shin had trained extensively to boost both his physical strength and lung capacity. Despite keeping his outfit fully covered during the Malaysia stop, his strong physique was still evident. He kicked off the night with “Love Hurts but Forgetting Doesn’t”, instantly igniting the audience.

The concert was filled with humor and interaction. When fans shouted “Boss,” Shin shared a funny story about drunkenly hugging his bassist, only to realize they were looking into a mirror. “That’s life—live it to the fullest!” he laughed.

He also teamed up with guest Taiyang to perform the karaoke favorite “A Thousand Years of Love,” joking that his songs are popular because they’re “so satisfying to sing.” He then powered through hits like “Attitude,” “Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies,” and “If There Is a Tomorrow,” pushing the energy to its peak. “Is it too loud? If it is, we’re about to get even louder!” he teased.

Known for his humor, Shin quipped, “Your ears won’t get pregnant from this, but they’ll definitely be cleaned out!” sending the audience into laughter.

During “Die Loving You,” he briefly lost control of volume while switching microphones but quickly recovered, showcasing his professionalism. The crowd later joined in massive sing-alongs for classics like “Leave Song” and “Sky High.”

Midway, he shared a humorous story about arguing with AI after it miscredited his song “Summer in the UK.” “I ended up arguing with it for over 10 minutes,” he joked.

As the show neared its end, Shin grew emotional before performing “Holding Hands,” reflecting, “Life is full of ups and downs, but every step forward counts.” He thanked fans for their support: “Thank you for giving me tonight. It’s been over 20 years since I last came here, but I believe someone has always been waiting.”

The two-hour concert concluded on a high note. Despite loud calls for an encore, Shin chose not to return, ending the night with a confident and memorable finish.
