(Taipei, 20th) Wang Xiaofei and his Taiwanese wife Mandy Ma welcomed their son at the end of last month, following a wedding ceremony held in Beijing in May last year. The couple is currently in Taiwan, focusing on caring for their newborn.

However, after Mandy returned to livestreaming post-pregnancy, her condition during and after pregnancy sparked speculation online, including rumors of surrogacy and the use of a “fake baby bump.” Addressing the controversy for the first time during a livestream, she firmly denied the claims, stating that she gave birth to the child herself and urged the public not to believe false rumors.

She expressed frustration over the speculation, calling it “ridiculous” and even joked about the absurdity of the “fake belly” claims.

Mandy also emphasized that surrogacy involves legal issues in both China and Taiwan, and she and her family would never engage in illegal activities.

The rumors reportedly stemmed from her active lifestyle during pregnancy, including frequent livestreams and travel, as well as her relatively small baby bump and rapid postnatal recovery. She explained that she gained only about 7 kilograms during pregnancy and quickly returned to around 48 kilograms after giving birth.

She also shared her childbirth experience, revealing that her water broke unexpectedly about two weeks before her due date, leading to an emergency hospital visit. Overwhelmed with emotions, she admitted she broke down in tears at the time.

Despite her fear of pain, she ultimately chose to undergo a C-section. Now, as a new mother, she is gradually adjusting to parenthood and often shares her daily life through livestreams.
