(Hong Kong, 20th) The highly anticipated Chinese reality show Sisters Who Make Waves 2026 has been generating buzz since its early preparations. Earlier rumors suggested big names like Maggie Cheung, Joey Wong, and Song Hye kyo would join, fueling widespread speculation.
As the show is expected to premiere in April, a newly leaked lineup has reignited discussions. The list includes Hong Kong stars such as Grace Chan, Selena Lee, and Tavia Yeung.
Grace Chan recently confirmed she has received an invitation and is currently in talks, adding that her husband Kevin Cheng fully supports her participation while reminding her to stay mentally prepared for public scrutiny.
Reports also suggest that this season may adopt a fully live broadcast format, increasing pressure on contestants. Chan noted that her experience in live pageants has prepared her for such challenges.
Selena Lee, who gained popularity in mainland China after her recent drama success, is also seen as a strong contender. Meanwhile, Tavia Yeung—who stepped back from acting after marriage—has sparked excitement among fans with her rumored return.
The Sisters Who Make Waves franchise, which began in 2020, features female celebrities aged 30 and above competing through intensive training and performances to debut in a new girl group.
Season 7 is rumored to feature seven fully live stages from start to finale, making it one of the most demanding editions yet.
Other rumored participants include Tao Xinran, Tang Yixin, Stephanie Hsiao, Fan Weiqi, and Malaysian actress Angelica Lee, though some have yet to confirm.
