At the Orleans Masters (Super 300), Malaysian independent shuttler Lee Zii Jia failed to qualify for the main draw after exiting in the second round of qualifiers.

He lost 18–21, 7–21 to China’s Dong Tianyao.

Earlier, Lee had advanced by defeating India’s Sankar Muthusamy Subramanian 21–12, 21–18 in straight games.
