Premiere Date of Comeback Revealed! Dee Hsu Admits Breaking Down in Tears Multiple Times, Opens Up Emotionally

(Taipei, April 3) Taiwanese host Dee Hsu (Little S) is gradually returning to the spotlight after taking a year-long break to grieve the passing of her sister, Barbie Hsu (Big S), last year. She has resumed hosting the talk show Miss Bu Xi Di, marking a heartfelt comeback.

Recently, she made surprise appearances in Taipei’s Xinyi District, including a spontaneous visit to Janet Chia at Taipei 101, and reunited on set with longtime collaborator Kevin Tsai. The emotional moments during filming reportedly moved many staff members.

A special segment titled “The Road Back to Hosting” is set to air on April 6. During a recent livestream with co-host Patrick, Little S openly shared her journey of returning to work.

Although she appears composed, she admitted experiencing emotional breakdowns during filming. “I’m not sure if viewers will feel that I’ve changed or that I’m no longer the person they remember. Honestly, I don’t even know myself,” she said.

She noted that stepping back into hosting felt surprisingly natural, especially with Patrick by her side. “I used to feel anxious—tight chest, panic, sweating—but this time, I feel much more relaxed and at ease.”

Still, she acknowledged ongoing emotional fluctuations and addressed viewers candidly: “Maybe you won’t like seeing me cry on screen, or joke while I’m still grieving—but those are my most genuine emotions in that moment.”

She emphasized that nothing is staged: “I’m not trying to gain sympathy or create drama—I’m simply being my true self.”
