(Tokyo, April 3) Japanese actress Yuki Uchida announced on April 2 via her official website that she has officially registered her marriage with actor Takashi Kashiwabara, marking a new chapter after years of partnership.

In her statement, Uchida shared that the two have supported each other through both work and life over the years, and are now transitioning from partners to family. “We have received so many warm wishes, and we are truly grateful,” she said, while also apologizing for making the announcement in such a formal manner.

Uchida was previously married to Hidetaka Yoshioka in 2002 and briefly stepped away from the entertainment industry before their marriage ended two years later.
