In the men’s singles quarterfinals of the Table Tennis World Cup on April 4, Wang Chuqin staged a remarkable comeback, defeating Darko Jorgic 4-3 after being pushed to the brink. Exhausted after the match, he was forced to pause mid-interview, bending over and supporting himself with both hands to recover.

China had five players in the men’s draw, but with early exits from players like Liang Jingkun, Wang became the sole remaining contender.
