(Beijing, April 5) Chinese actress Tang Yixin, who has kept a low profile since marrying actor Zhang Ruoyun, recently appeared on the hit variety show Sisters Who Make Waves 2026 (Lang Jie 7), where she revealed for the first time why she had stepped away from acting for four years.

She shared that after giving birth, she developed a severe skin condition that caused abnormal thickening and swelling on her face, making it difficult to appear on camera. The condition also led her into a period of emotional withdrawal and isolation.

During that time, she endured immense physical and psychological pressure, even hiding her condition from her parents. Meanwhile, the public had misunderstood her absence, assuming she had chosen to leave the industry to become a full-time housewife.

Throughout her struggle, Zhang Ruoyun remained her strongest support—helping with childcare, seeking medical treatment, and constantly reassuring her, saying, “It’s okay, you’re still beautiful.”

Fortunately, with treatment and mental recovery, her condition gradually stabilized. Now returning with a refreshed image on Sisters Who Make Waves 2026, Tang expressed renewed determination: “I feel like I’m ready to go all out again.”
