(Seoul, April 18) BLACKPINK member Jisoo’s older brother, Kim Jun-hyung (romanized), has recently been embroiled in an alleged sex scandal, drawing significant public attention. As the controversy continues to unfold, no official statement has been issued by the parties involved.

Public discussion intensified after Korean netizens resurfaced a 2025 report by inews24, which allegedly mentioned the filming of inappropriate content. However, the article has now become inaccessible, leading to speculation that it may have been removed or taken down.

Kim has been active in the business sector in recent years, operating a probiotic brand called “biomom” since 2021. He has participated in promotional events, including appearances at SME exhibitions in Anyang in 2022, and expanded overseas in 2023 through interviews and product introductions. Observers have also noted a business connection between the brand and Jisoo’s company, “Blissoo.”

At the center of the controversy is a man surnamed Kim, who was reportedly accused of sexually assaulting a female livestream host (BJ) after dining with her on the night of the 14th. Police initially arrested him on the spot, but prosecutors later rejected the detention request. While the suspect’s identity has not been officially confirmed and has only been described as “the older brother of a well-known girl group member,” online speculation widely points to Kim Jun-hyung.

In addition, a woman claiming to be the man’s wife has publicly alleged long-term domestic abuse and psychological manipulation, as well as the existence of inappropriate recordings. These claims, however, remain unverified, and the limited coverage by major Korean media outlets has left the situation unclear and unresolved.
