Lee Ka Ding attends farewell for Shi Ming with daughter-in-law; Lee Wing Ho’s wife stopped outside the mourning hall and waits quietly

(Hong Kong, 22nd) Shi Ming passed away in the early morning of March 21 due to pneumonia at the age of 74. A memorial service was held today at Po Fook Memorial Hall in Tai Wai. The funeral arrangements were handled solely by her eldest son, Li Yonghan, who repeatedly stated that he was honoring his mother’s wishes by not allowing his younger brother’s wife, Agnes (wife of Li Yonghao), to enter the hall.

At around 4 PM, Li Yonghao arrived with his father Li Ka-ding and his wife Agnes. However, Agnes was stopped at the entrance and had to wait outside. According to Hong Kong media, she remained silent throughout, standing outside “as if being punished,” even though seats were available, which she declined.

During this time, Li Yonghao briefly stepped out to speak quietly with her. Despite being denied entry, Agnes walked to the entrance, clasped her hands in respect, and performed three bows before leaving. When asked about her relationship with her mother-in-law or whether she felt upset, she did not respond.

Meanwhile, Li Ka-ding appeared noticeably thinner and visibly grief-stricken. He also declined to comment when asked about his health.
