According to a report by Chinese outlet “Fox Factory Entertainment Observer,” some insiders noted that the controversy surrounding the “foundation general” incident has impacted Zhang Linghe’s project approval rate, raising his short-term risk profile compared to his co-star. Meanwhile, Tian Xiwei’s performance in Zhu Yu has earned her widespread industry praise, positioning her as a rising “traffic star,” with roughly 80% of her project opportunities receiving priority consideration.

Despite the controversy, Zhang Linghe continues to demonstrate strong market performance and platform backing. Zhu Yu became the first costume drama to surpass 10,000 popularity index simultaneously on both iQIYI and Tencent. His role-related metrics and social media influence rank among the top of the post-95 generation. Notably, his central seating position at the drama’s celebration event was also seen as a sign of strong industry endorsement.
