Hong Kong screen legend Patrick Tse passed away from pneumonia on July 16 at the age of 89. Coco, his former girlfriend who was 49 years younger and dated him for 12 years, recently opened up during a livestream about why their relationship ended and recalled their final meeting, saying she remains deeply grateful for the love and support he gave her.

Coco revealed that the last time they met was at a gathering with friends in late 2018. They enjoyed a pleasant meal together, never imagining that saying goodbye afterward would become their final farewell.

She explained that their relationship did not end because they fell out of love. Instead, during a hiking trip, Patrick realized his physical strength was no longer what it used to be. Acknowledging their significant age gap, he worried that he might hold her back and gradually encouraged her to focus on building her own future.

Although they never formally said they were breaking up, the couple quietly parted ways by mutual understanding, choosing to preserve the happy memories they shared.

Coco also dismissed rumors that they met at a nightclub, clarifying that they were introduced by mutual friends and first met at a café in Shanghai. She described Patrick as charismatic on the outside but warm and thoughtful in private. She also revealed that when she faced financial difficulties, he even sold one of his luxury cars to help her through the tough period while teaching her valuable lessons about managing money.

According to Coco, Patrick treated her so well that she has struggled to meet anyone who could replace him. Although they never married, she said he will always hold an irreplaceable place in her heart.

During the livestream, Coco fought back tears until she noticed the viewer count had reached 444,000. The number immediately reminded her of Patrick's famous nickname, "Fourth Brother." Believing it was a meaningful coincidence, she broke down in tears and said, "Love is destined." She later bowed deeply to fans, thanking them for supporting Patrick throughout the years.
