Kuala Lumpur, July 28 — Marvel fans were treated to a spectacular aerial celebration as Sony Pictures Malaysia hosted a two-night drone light show and fireworks display at Raintree Plaza, TRX, to promote the upcoming release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Held on July 24 and 25, the event featured 600 synchronised drones flying across the Kuala Lumpur skyline, creating iconic Spider-Man symbols and animated aerial displays. Combined with dazzling fireworks, the performance transformed the night sky into a cinematic tribute to Marvel's beloved web-slinger.
Beyond the aerial spectacle, visitors also explored an interactive New York City-themed zone inspired by Spider-Man's friendly neighbourhood. The area featured themed installations and photo spots, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the superhero's world before the evening show began.
The event attracted large crowds of moviegoers and Spider-Man enthusiasts, with many dressing up as the iconic superhero to join the celebration.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will officially open in cinemas across Malaysia this Thursday (July 30), with advance ticket sales already underway.
