Wu Zhuoxi's Rescued Stray Cat Sparks Dating Rumours After Similar Feline Appears at Kelly Cheung's Home

(Hong Kong, July 27) Hong Kong actor Ron Ng has long been known as an avid animal lover, with all 11 cats and four dogs in his home having been adopted. Earlier this year, he won praise after rescuing a stray cat while filming the drama City of Splendour in Zhuhai. Now, a similar-looking cat has appeared in co-star Katy Kung's home, fuelling speculation about the pair's relationship.

A viral video filmed during production showed Ng signing autographs for fans while gently cradling the rescued cat in one arm. Smiling, he even asked the cat, "Do you want to sign too?", charming fans with his affectionate interaction.

The cat appeared completely relaxed in his arms, leading many to believe it had already formed a close bond with the actor.

Recently, Katy Kung shared photos on social media introducing a new member of her family—a rescued stray cat named "Dong Gu." She revealed that she had rescued the cat about seven months ago and described it as a cuddly companion that loves sleeping in her arms.

She thanked the cat for bringing joy and laughter into her home, adding that it has settled in well with her other pets, Louie and Nala.

Because Dong Gu bears a striking resemblance to the stray cat previously seen with Ng—particularly its distinctive black forehead markings and facial stripes—some eagle-eyed netizens speculated they could be the same cat.

The resemblance has prompted fresh dating rumours involving Ng and Kung, although neither has commented on the speculation.
