"The Devil Wears Prada 2" Arrives on Disney+ with Original Cast Reuniting

(Kuala Lumpur, July 27) Fashion blockbuster The Devil Wears Prada 2 will make its Disney+ debut on July 29, reuniting original stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci for another journey into the glamorous yet ruthless world of fashion publishing.

The sequel returns to the offices of Runway magazine in New York, where Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway) comes back as a feature editor while her former boss, Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), struggles to keep the legendary fashion magazine afloat amid the decline of traditional print media.

The film once again showcases the glamour of the fashion industry, featuring luxury brands including Dior, Versace, Armani, Givenchy and Cartier, alongside appearances by well-known figures from the fashion and music worlds.

Since its theatrical release in May, The Devil Wears Prada 2 has generated strong buzz worldwide, grossing more than US$676 million globally. The success also pushed the franchise's cumulative worldwide box office past the US$1 billion milestone.
