According to The Sun, Amorim has made a bold move by removing four senior players from Manchester United's preseason training list: Rashford, Garnacho, Antony, and Sancho. They will not join the overseas tour and could be relegated to train with the under-21s—or even train alone—if they fail to leave the club.

“Amorim wants to shape a team with full buy-in,” a club source revealed. “He’s not interested in carrying players with divided loyalties or poor attitudes.”

With United missing out on European competition next season, Amorim is looking to trim the squad and foster tight-knit dynamics.

Transfer Obstacles: High Wages, Few Takers

Rashford, priced at £40 million, is struggling to attract buyers due to his £325,000-per-week wages. While Newcastle offered a loan, Rashford rejected it, holding out hope for a Barcelona move—even willing to take a pay cut. However, Barça are now closer to signing Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao.

United wants to start a bidding war for Garnacho, ideally reaching £70 million, but may settle for around £50 million. Napoli, Atlético Madrid, Chelsea, Spurs, and Aston Villa have all shown interest, with Garnacho reportedly preferring to stay in the Premier League.

Antony is also up for sale at £30 million. United won’t entertain loan offers and are unwilling to discount the price, despite some interest from Real Betis.

Sancho is reportedly open to joining Napoli, with United valuing him at £20 million. However, with just a year left on his contract, most suitors prefer a loan. United may agree to a £5 million loan fee plus 50% wage coverage, but Sancho refuses a pay cut—stalling a permanent move.
