The feud between Donald Trump and Elon Musk reignited on July 1, as Trump took to Truth Social to accuse Musk of heavily relying on government subsidies. “Without them, he’d be out of business and back in South Africa,” Trump wrote, referencing Musk’s origins.

In a swift and sharp response, Musk posted just five words: “Cut all of it. Now.”

The clash comes after the Senate narrowly passed an updated version of the “Big Beautiful Bill,” eliminating the $7,500 tax credit for electric vehicle purchases. Musk called the policy “devastating for future U.S. industries” and “political suicide for Republicans.”

While the two had momentarily reconciled in June, their renewed clash over subsidies and EV policy once again places America’s clean energy direction and the 2024 election climate under the spotlight.

Social Post Suggestion:
🔥 Trump vs Musk, round two!
