Trump Announces Significant Tariff Hikes on Imports from Seven Countries Including Indonesia Starting August

On July 7, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump officially announced via social media that starting August 1, 2025, the United States will impose substantial tariff increases on imports from seven countries: Indonesia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bangladesh, Serbia, Cambodia, Thailand, and Tunisia.
