Man United Clear-Out Intensifies: Four Players Kicked Out of Dressing Room, Sancho Willing to Halve Salary for Dortmund Return

Manchester United's restructuring under new manager Rúben Amorim has entered a decisive phase. According to British media, four players—Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia—have been instructed to vacate the first-team dressing room and move to the U21 section, symbolizing their complete exclusion from the senior squad.

Despite Amorim’s public comments suggesting these players could stay, the internal reality says otherwise. Only Marcus Rashford has managed to find a way out, joining Barcelona on loan and regaining his rhythm.

The four players had already been restricted from using the Carrington training ground during first-team hours. They only had access after others had left. While they temporarily regained facility access during the team’s US tour, that window is closing as Amorim and the squad are set to return this Sunday after their final pre-season match against Everton.

Among the four, Jadon Sancho’s situation is the most tangled. His fallout with Erik ten Hag left him sidelined last season, and although he had reportedly reached terms with Juventus, the move stalled. Juventus director Damien Comolli confirmed the club’s interest but emphasized that player sales must come first—naming Vlahović, Weah, and Nico González as potential exits.

Growing impatient, Sancho is now looking elsewhere. According to Bild, he has informed Dortmund executives Lars Ricken and Sebastian Kehl that he’s willing to slash his salary by 50% to return to his former club. Should Dortmund pursue a third stint with Sancho, he is reportedly ready to join without hesitation.

Sancho's loan spells have shown flashes of his quality—he scored three goals in the second half of last season with Dortmund, helping them reach the Champions League final. He also played a key role in Chelsea’s Europa Conference League triumph. However, concerns about his attitude linger, making some clubs wary.

United, on the other hand, are now simply seeking a buyer. They are willing to let Sancho go for just £15 million, regardless of the destination.

For Sancho, the top priority is clear: freedom. And for United, the rebuild has no room for sentimentality.
