Honda is gearing up to make a bold entry into the high-performance electric two-wheeler market, with its first full-size electric motorcycle set to debut on September 16. The highlight? It will feature cutting-edge DC fast-charging technology, a game-changer for long-distance riding.

On September 2, Honda shared a teaser video on its official Instagram, revealing road tests of the new electric motorcycle on European streets. Though wrapped in black-and-white camouflage, its silhouette and styling closely resemble the “EV Fun Concept” first showcased at the 2024 EICMA show in Milan.

Unlike most compact electric scooters designed for short commutes, this model targets the mid-size gasoline motorcycle segment—directly rivaling Honda’s own CB series—and promises performance geared toward highway riding. Sources suggest the range will exceed 100 kilometers, making it a practical choice for more than just city trips.

The addition of fast-charging could be Honda’s ace in the hole. While only a handful of competitors like the LiveWire One currently offer this feature, most electric motorcycles still rely on slow charging that takes hours.
