Samsung One UI 8 Rollout Timeline Revealed — Galaxy S25 Series to Get First Wave on September 18

Samsung’s One UI 8 rollout schedule has just been leaked, and it’s packed with exciting details for Galaxy fans across smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches.

According to insider @Alfaturk16, who shared multiple photos on X (formerly Twitter) on September 5, the update will debut with Samsung’s flagship lineup. The Galaxy S25 series — including the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra — is set to receive the stable One UI 8 update first on September 18, followed by the S24 series and the new S25 Edge on September 25.

• Sept 18: Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra
• Sept 25: Galaxy S25 Edge, S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE
• Oct 2: Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, S21 FE 5G

Galaxy Z Fold & Flip Series

Galaxy A Series Highlights
The mid-range Galaxy A lineup has a staggered rollout, with the A56 5G and A36 5G getting it first on Sept 25. Models like the A55 5G, A54 5G, and A52s 5G follow in early to mid-October, while others such as the A53 5G, A35 5G, and A34 5G will have to wait until late October.

Galaxy M, XCover, and Tablets
The Galaxy M and rugged XCover series also join the list, with updates stretching from Oct 16 to Nov 10. On the tablet side, premium models like the Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra are scheduled for Oct 1, with a wave of Tab S9, S8, and S6 Lite updates landing on Oct 23. Rugged Tab Active devices and budget Tab A9 will receive their turn in early November.

Galaxy Watch Lineup
Wearables aren’t left out — the Galaxy Watch 7, Watch 6 series, and Watch FE will be updated on Oct 1. The Watch 5, Watch 4, and their Classic/Pro variants are slated for Nov 3.
