According to IT Home, the Xiaomi 17 Series will include three models—Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. Both the Pro and Pro Max will debut with the brand-new “Magic Enjoy” rear display and mark the world’s first launch of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Ultra platform. Xiaomi President Lu Weibing also confirmed during a livestream that the series won’t stop here—an Ultra version is already on the roadmap.

During the same livestream, Lu showcased the innovative L-shaped battery design in the Xiaomi 17 Pro series, which maximizes internal space to fit higher-capacity cells. While he didn’t disclose the exact figures, the leaked numbers speak for themselves. He also revealed that the Pro series’ secondary rear display was a billion-yuan investment, built with the same premium luminescent materials as the main screen and protected by Dragon Crystal Glass, with a factory-applied screen protector included.
