On September 25, during the 2025 Lei Jun Annual Speech & Xiaomi 17 Series Launch Event, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Positioned as all-round technology and imaging flagships, the 17 Pro Max is priced from ¥5,999, with pre-orders already open and official sales beginning on September 27 at 10 AM.

🔹 Display & Build
The 17 Pro Max comes with a 6.9-inch flat flagship display, powered by Super Pixel technology. It delivers 2K-level clarity while consuming less power than traditional 2K—and even more efficient than 1.5K panels. The screen is protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 3rd Gen, offering significantly improved drop resistance.

🔹 Imaging System
Equipped with the new Leica Light & Shadow Master Camera System, the phone features Leica’s professional optical triple-lens setup, earning the title of the “Backlight King” of mobile imaging. The main camera uses the brand-new Light Hunter 950L sensor with LOFIC high dynamic range technology, achieving 16.5EV HDR. It also includes a 5x periscope telephoto lens with a large sensor, delivering 30% more light intake.

🔹 Battery & Charging
Inside is a massive 7,500mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang Battery, designed with L-shaped stacked silicon anode technology (16% silicon). Charging speeds are equally impressive, supporting 100W HyperCharge wired and 50W wireless fast charging.

Lei Jun highlighted that the Xiaomi 17 Pro Series is not only this year’s flagship, but also a milestone in Xiaomi’s decade-long pursuit of innovation in technology and imaging
