On September 26, social media lit up with posts claiming that SF Express President Wang Wei had personally contributed an astonishing 120 million yuan to reward long-serving employees. The initiative, confirmed later by the company, saw 100,000 staff members who have served for over a decade each receive a “long-service appreciation bonus,” ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 yuan depending on their years of dedication.
Screenshots shared by SF couriers showed the so-called “Dick Appreciation Bonus” alongside a heartfelt letter from Wang Wei himself. In it, he expressed his gratitude: “Thank you for standing firm with us through the years, integrating your personal efforts into the company’s growth. Moving forward, I hope we continue side by side—refining our skills, achieving brighter success, and enjoying a better life together.”
SF Express confirmed to reporters that this bonus covered 100,000 long-service employees, totaling 120 million yuan. Specifically, employees with more than 10 years of service received 1,000 yuan, those with over 15 years received 2,000 yuan, and those with more than 20 years received 3,000 yuan.
The company emphasized that the experience and stability of long-time employees are vital to maintaining SF Express’s renowned service quality. “President Wang Wei has always believed employees are SF’s most valuable asset,” the spokesperson added. “Looking ahead, we will continue to strengthen employee growth and development systems.”
This is far from the first time Wang Wei has personally shown his appreciation to staff. In 2017, at the time of SF Express’s public listing, and again during the 2025 Lunar New Year, he gave out employee bonuses. Back in August 2020, he sent a goodwill cash gift of 888 yuan each to all 400,000 employees—another gesture underscoring his enduring commitment to his team.
