The Classic QQ Is Back! Dual-Mode Switching Now Supported on PC

Fast Technology reported on December 8 that Tencent QQ has officially announced the return of the classic QQ experience, bringing a wave of nostalgia back to the desktop platform.

According to the announcement, the PC version of QQ now supports dual-mode switching. The newly introduced Efficiency Mode features a clean and streamlined interface, while users can freely choose whether the message list and chat windows appear separately or combined—giving greater flexibility for different work and communication habits.

At the same time, the entire color palette is now completely free. Users can enjoy a wide variety of theme color combinations, along with the ability to fully customize themes, chat bubbles, and other interface colors to match their personal style.

In addition, the new PC version of QQ also delivers optimized channel features, further improving the overall user experience.

It now supports batch importing of sticker packs, as well as importing chat records from older versions, making the transition to the updated platform smoother and more convenient than ever.
