On January 22, LeBron James shared a clip on Instagram of his thunderous dunk against the Denver Nuggets. A friend captioned the clip: “This old guy is 200 years old and can still explode off both feet—unbelievable!” James responded by reposting with six laughing-crying emojis, showing his sense of humor.

Earlier, James missed out on being named a starter for the All-Star Game, ending his streak of 21 consecutive All-Star starts, but he could still appear as a reserve. After the game, he commented on not being a starter: “No reaction at all.” Regarding being a potential reserve, he said: “I’m always grateful. If selected, I’ll show up. If not, I know how to make the most of my time.”

When asked if Nuggets guard Jamal Murray deserved his first All-Star selection, James praised him: “I saw his recent stats—accurate shooting, high scoring. They won key games while Jokic was out. He’s fully All-Star caliber.”
