A gossip account claims that an insider has revealed Jin Chen is allegedly involved in a hit-and-run incident.

According to online claims, a traffic accident occurred in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. A widely shared Traffic Accident Responsibility Determination Report lists an individual named Xu Changqing as the driver, stating that the accident resulted from insufficient attention while driving, leading to a collision with a road sign and a residential wall. Xu was reportedly found fully responsible and sustained injuries.

However, some online sources allege that the actual driver may not have been Xu, but Jin Chen herself. These claims suggest that Jin Chen was driving the vehicle, accompanied by her manager in the front passenger seat, while Xu was seated in the back. It is further alleged that after the accident, Jin Chen and her manager left the scene, leaving Xu to handle the situation and identify himself as the driver, raising suspicions of “substitution” or “taking the blame.”

It is also claimed that the insurance company later discovered inconsistencies regarding the identity of the driver and reported the matter to traffic authorities. Subsequently, Jin Chen reportedly contacted the insurer, stating that she would personally cover all costs and would not pursue an insurance claim. The insurance report was later withdrawn.

At present, all related information comes from text-based online disclosures. There are no publicly released photos, videos, or official police statements confirming that Jin Chen was the driver or that a hit-and-run occurred. The only circulated document is a responsibility report signed by Xu Changqing.
