Court documents reportedly revealed private texts linked to Taylor Swift, sparking debate over messages that include harsh remarks about a director.

According to a source quoted by People magazine, Taylor Swift wants to “stay as far away from the drama as possible” after private text messages between her and Blake Lively were made public.

The messages surfaced as part of an ongoing legal dispute between Lively and It Ends With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni. Portions of court documents were unsealed in late January, revealing communications involving Swift.

The source said Swift feels her privacy was violated, noting that anyone would be uncomfortable seeing personal messages exposed. She was not the only celebrity mentioned in the filings—Matt Damon and his wife Luciana were also referenced, having communicated with Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, regarding the film.

The legal conflict began last December, when Lively sued Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, alleging sexual harassment and retaliatory smear campaigns. Baldoni later filed a countersuit against Lively and Reynolds for defamation and extortion, which has since been dismissed. His legal team is now seeking to have the remaining case thrown out before trial.

Baldoni’s attorneys argue that Swift was asked to support script revisions, while Lively’s legal team maintains that the messages were taken out of context.
