(Kuala Lumpur, Feb 10) — Malaysian Pacific Industries (MPI, 3867, Main Market Technology) reported stronger earnings for its 2QFY2026 (ended Dec 31), posting a net profit of RM57.09 million, up 42.6% year-on-year. Revenue rose 18.12% to RM626.62 million.

For the first half, MPI’s cumulative net profit climbed to RM110.14 million, surging 56.99% from a year earlier, while revenue increased 20.47% to RM1.26146 billion.

In its quarterly report, the company said revenue from Asia, the United States, and Europe grew 14%, 54%, and 8%, respectively, compared with the same period last year. Supported by higher revenue and improved gross margins, profit before tax jumped 38.33%, highlighting continued improvement in profitability.

MPI noted that the global semiconductor market remains affected by recent developments, including U.S. tariffs on certain European countries, higher commodity prices, and a weaker U.S. dollar. Nevertheless, the company expects performance to continue benefiting from strong demand for AI servers and a recovery in the automotive segment.

The group also reaffirmed its commitment to cost-reduction initiatives to mitigate ongoing cost pressures.
