Stephenson: I Just Love LeBron, He’s Always a Team Player

Former Pacers and Lakers guard Lance Stephenson appeared on Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson’s podcast, sharing his thoughts on LeBron James’ evolution from the 2018-19 season to the 2025-26 season. Stephenson, famously remembered for blowing in LeBron’s ear during playoff battles, has nothing but praise for the superstar.

Stephenson said: “Man, he’s always been a team player, but now I see him as an entire superteam. Everything he does is for winning, not stats. He’s always preparing younger players, always ready to take responsibility. He doesn’t care about scoring; he just wants to make the right play. That’s who he is, always has been, but now he’s on another level. I’m happy for him. I just love LeBron—you can never dislike him.”

Drafted 40th overall in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft by the Pacers, Stephenson played for multiple teams including the Hornets, Clippers, Grizzlies, Pelicans, and Timberwolves, returning to the Pacers several times. From rival to teammate, Stephenson’s admiration for LeBron today is clear and heartfelt.
