(Hangzhou, 22nd) “King of Asian Pop” Leehom Wang has officially launched his new concert tour “The Best Place II.” Tickets for the Hangzhou stop went on sale recently, drawing nearly one million fans competing simultaneously for around 100,000 tickets—which sold out instantly, marking one of the strongest ticket launches of the year. Fans quickly speculated online: “Is Taipei Dome next?”

According to reports, Wang is building on last year’s remarkable achievement of 57 fully sold-out shows. This time, the production has been significantly upgraded, expanding into a large-scale outdoor stadium tour across Asia.

Teaser previews released on social media have already generated major buzz. The stage design, described by fans as a “360-degree immersive stage,” promises a futuristic concert experience unlike anything seen before.

Known for blending technology with music, Wang previously performed alongside AI robots on stage. This new tour is widely considered his most ambitious production yet, pushing both creative and engineering boundaries.

Highlights include a first-of-its-kind 30-meter retractable bridge, a 380-meter surrounding runway, borderless framing visuals, ultra-wide screens, IMAX-level audiovisual effects, and a mysterious large-scale mechanical feature to be revealed live.

Following the instant sell-out, an additional Hangzhou show is expected, potentially releasing another 50,000 tickets. The overwhelming demand once again demonstrates that even in the era of AI, the live concert economy remains highly compelling.
