On April 28 (Beijing time), the NBA Playoffs saw the Orlando Magic defeat the Detroit Pistons 94–88, taking a 3–1 series lead and moving within reach of a historic upset.

The game was tightly contested throughout. Orlando led by just two points at halftime and extended the margin to six after three quarters. Detroit briefly tied the game in the fourth, but Orlando’s defense held firm despite struggles from key players. Desmond Bane sealed the win with a clutch banked three-pointer.

Orlando relied on balanced scoring. Franz Wagner delivered a strong performance with 19 points and four steals, while Bane led all scorers with 22 points, including five three-pointers. Paolo Banchero struggled from the field, shooting 4-of-18, but still contributed 18 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

For Detroit, Cade Cunningham carried the offense with 23 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, but lacked sufficient support. Jalen Duren and Tobias Harris each added 12 points, but it wasn’t enough.

In the final quarter, Detroit rallied to tie the game, but Orlando responded with timely plays, including key contributions from Markelle Fultz, before Bane’s decisive three-pointer secured the victory.

With this win, Orlando now holds a commanding 3–1 lead and is on the brink of advancing.
