Despite global uncertainty and geopolitical tensions, digital assets continue to attract strong capital inflows. According to the latest report from CoinShares, digital asset investment products recorded their 10th straight week of inflows, with $1.24 billion added last week alone. Year-to-date (YTD) inflows have now surpassed $15.1 billion, marking a new all-time high.

Bitcoin and Ethereum Lead the Rally

Bitcoin (BTC) remained the top magnet for capital, pulling in $1.1 billion in a single week. The trend suggests investors are buying the dip and capitalizing on recent price corrections.

Ethereum (ETH) followed with $124 million in net inflows, its ninth consecutive positive week, showing continued optimism surrounding Ethereum’s upcoming upgrades and Layer-2 expansion.

Regional Divergence Reflects Investor Sentiment

The U.S. led the charge with $1.25 billion in inflows, while Canada and Germany also saw positive numbers—$20.9 million and $10.9 million, respectively.

However, Hong Kong and Switzerland experienced notable outflows of $32.6 million and $7.7 million, indicating localized investor caution, potentially influenced by policy or regional market sentiment.

Geopolitics and Holidays Temper Momentum

Inflows slowed slightly toward the weekend, likely due to the Juneteenth holiday in the U.S. and growing concerns over U.S. involvement in Iran tensions. While short-term events impacted the pace, the overall trend remains bullish.

Altcoins Attracting Diversified Interest

Beyond BTC and ETH, assets like Solana (SOL) and XRP also gained traction, pulling in $2.78 million and $2.69 million, respectively. This suggests investors are diversifying beyond major coins, exploring opportunities in emerging ecosystems.

Conclusion: Resilience and Appeal Amid Uncertainty

Amidst volatile traditional markets and rising global risks, digital assets are proving their resilience. Ten consecutive weeks of inflows reflect not just retail optimism, but also institutional confidence in crypto’s role as both a hedge and a growth asset.
