Despite a productive loan spell at Real Betis last season (9 goals, 5 assists), Antony finds himself sidelined at Manchester United this summer. New boss Ruben Amorim has excluded him from the first-team setup, pushing him toward an exit.

According to transfer insider Ben Jacobs, several United players—including newcomers Cunha and Mbeumo—believe Antony deserves a fresh chance. Surprisingly, Mbeumo, a direct positional rival, also supports Antony staying, citing his fit within Amorim’s 3-4-3 system.

However, United are holding out for a £30 million transfer fee, while Betis can only offer €20 million (£17 million). Antony remains committed to rejoining Betis and has turned down offers from Brazilian clubs and postponed interest from Saudi sides, including Al-Nassr.

The Brazilian winger’s future remains unresolved, with just weeks left in the summer window.
