Tech media outlet DroneXL revealed on September 19 that the DJI Osmo Nano action camera briefly appeared on an Australian online store, exposing its complete specifications ahead of the official launch. DJI has already confirmed that the Osmo Nano will debut on September 23, positioned as a lightweight action camera designed for portable content creation and outdoor adventures. The device features a sleek magnetic dual-sided design that allows users to switch effortlessly between selfies and outward-facing shots, complemented by a wide range of accessories for versatile shooting angles.

At its core, the Osmo Nano is powered by a brand-new 1/1.3-inch sensor with advanced image processing, offering up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range. It supports crisp 4K/60fps video capture as well as cinematic 4K/120fps slow motion. The 143° ultra-wide-angle lens ensures expansive coverage for travel and sports, while the 10-bit D-Log M color profile preserves over a billion colors with rich detail in highlights and shadows. A dedicated Super Night mode further enhances low-light performance. To keep footage steady, DJI equips the camera with “Horizon Balancing” level correction and the latest “RockSteady 3.0” stabilization system, both capable of up to 4K/60fps recording, making it ideal for everything from extreme sports to daily vlogging.

Battery and efficiency are equally impressive. With the multifunctional visual base, a 20-minute fast charge brings the battery up to 80%, supporting up to 200 minutes of continuous 1080p recording. The camera also offers USB 3.1 high-speed transfer and microSD expansion, enabling creators to quickly offload and manage their footage. Durability is built-in as well, with the Osmo Nano rated for 10 meters of water resistance on its own, while the visual base adds IPX4 splash resistance, making it suitable for water sports and rugged outdoor conditions.

Audio capabilities are another highlight. The Osmo Nano supports direct connection to dual Osmo Audio microphones without a receiver, ensuring seamless synchronized recording. Additionally, its built-in dual microphones deliver immersive stereo sound. On the creative side, users can take advantage of features like horizontal-vertical switching, pre-recording, gesture control, and auto-capture. Through the DJI Mimo app, creators gain access to real-time previews, instant editing tools, motion data overlays, filters, Live Photos, beauty effects, and rapid Wi-Fi 6 wireless transfers.

In terms of pricing, the Osmo Nano will be available in two storage options: the 64GB version priced at €369 (approximately RMB 3,087) and the 128GB version priced at €399 (approximately RMB 3,338).
