Vivo VP Huang Tao Unveils X300 Series: A True “Pro-Level Mini Flagship” Launching October 13
Vivo’s Vice President of Product, Huang Tao (@vivo黃韜), took to Weibo this morning to unveil detailed specifications of the highly anticipated vivo X300 series, which is set to launch next Monday, October 13, at 7 PM.
According to Huang, the X300 series doesn’t actually include an “X300” model in the conventional sense — instead, it’s a bold redefinition. Featuring a 6.3-inch display and weighing just 190 grams, the device is positioned internally as the next-generation evolution of the X200 Pro mini. Designed with Pro-level performance and flagship experience, the X300 is crafted to deliver a truly premium feel in a compact form.
Huang described the standard and Pro versions as a pair of “dual imaging flagships”, both equipped with a Zeiss 200MP Ultra-HD camera system and the exclusive Zeiss APO Super Telephoto lens — previously reserved only for the Pro and Ultra lines. Every model in the lineup features the industry-first BOE Q10 Plus Eye Protection Display with dual brightness dimming and custom 1-nit ultra-low brightness technology for enhanced visual comfort.
Under the hood, the X300 series debuts the Blue Crystal × Dimensity 9500 platform, integrated with Vivo’s latest V3+ imaging chip. It fully supports the vivo × Zeiss 2.35× teleconverter, and delivers 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video recording, setting a new benchmark for mobile videography.
Beyond imaging, the X300 lineup comes with a robust set of all-around flagship features — including the second-generation semi-solid-state battery, Ultrasonic Fingerprint 2.0, LTPO 8T display, full-screen AOD, support for 50+ network bands, ultra-slim symmetrical 1.1mm bezels, multispectral sensor, quad Wi-Fi enhancement chips, floating droplet cooling system, velvet glass back, and USB 3.2 connectivity.
“With so many ‘all-series’ and ‘all-standard’ configurations,” Huang concluded, “it’s clear that this isn’t your typical low-spec standard edition paired with a high-end Pro version. The X300 series truly redefines what a compact flagship can be — because, in essence, there is no ordinary X300.”
